Journaling Print E-mail

Tips

  • Simple and easy; Who, What, Where, When, Why, How. (takes me back to my primary school days!)
  • Ugly handwriting? Don't worry! You don't need to have heaps of different and neat styles - use your handwriting because it's yours!
  • Still worried about messy handwriting? Use computer fonts and stencils, there are also plenty of free fonts on the net.
  • Don't forget that it's good idea to remember to place names and dates on your pages as future generations to come will need to know these things!
  • Tabs, pullouts and pockets are very handy if too much journaling doesn't mesh with the beauty and layout of your page.

Ideas

  • Separate letters or words with shapes such as stars and hearts
  • Use different colour and colour combinations for letters
  • Try all lower case or all upper case or a mix
  • Write tall or thin or short and wide
  • Mix your fonts.
